The Wag-A-Thon provides an outstanding opportunity for Event Sponsors and Bowser Bazaar Vendors to market their products and services to over 5,000 Pet Project Foundation Members, Business Partners, Sponsors, Volunteers, Pet Lovers and Local Residents, making this the Top Dog Event of Orange County. Activities include musical entertainment, pet contests, photo opportunities, animal demonstrations, children’s activities, a 3k Walk-With-Your-Dog, refreshments and even the Bowser Bazaar.
Year after year proceeds from this event directly support the care and welfare of the animals sheltered at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter. From spay and neuter programs, training and kennel care to life-saving medical treatment, community education and outreach, adoption and much more. And, with a 95% adoption/claim rate, the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter has been recognized consistently by the ASPCA for its outstanding efforts and even named the “Best Place to Adopt a Pet” by Orange Coast Magazine.
