What I Love Most About Animal Communication

Thank You, I Love You
I was thinking about what I love most about speaking with the animals and it is the joy of conversation. The animals are so happy to have a voice; to have a say-so in their lives. To let their parents (yes, meaning you) know what they want, to tell them how much they love them and most of all – don’t worry so much.

Many times my clients tell me that they think their pet is hungry or in pain when all they really want is your full attention. We get so wrapped up in our daily lives; we forget to look at them directly in the eye, without the phone in our hand or the TV or radio blaring in the background. They want to be acknowledged, petted, played with or to simply sit next to you. They want to tell you thank you for rescuing me, thank you for the food in my stomach and the roof over my head.  Thank you, I love you, pet me.

For the Love of Animals,

Frances

What About Me?

What About Me?
With this month being so busy, full of concerns for our tax obligation, worry, worry and more worry….our pets are saying “what about me?”  Our pets don’t have the understanding of the worry of everyday life – they just know they want their “me” time.  Pet ME, feed ME, walk ME…it’s all about ME!  We are busy being busy – not even realizing we are not paying attention to what the very live, breathing, furry bundle of love is trying to get… our attention.  We have something in our hands at all times – pinging, ringing, dinging, flashing or vibrating – all to keep our attention on the latest and greatest message that we just can’t possibly miss.  At dinner with our families – nobody talks – everyone has their phone in their hands texting, liking, typing, searching…what about the people and pets that are living and breathing right in front of you?  Our pets may start showing behaviors that they never used to do – urinating on your favorite chair, your side of the bed, your place on the couch.  It’s all about getting your attention – even if it is negative attention – they got your attention.  Even spending 5 minutes first thing in the morning – just you and your pet – cuddle, snuggle, caress – whatever makes them happy – but every morning for 5 minutes before the day gets busy.  Make it your morning quiet time; your active meditation…all they need is to know you still see them.

For the Love of Animals,

Frances

How Cold is Too Cold?

The best way to monitor dogs when it’s cold is to keep a close eye on their behavior. If you notice your dog shivering, acting anxious, whining, slowing down, searching out warm locations or holding up one or more paws, it’s time to head inside.
